Heather Chamberlain
Heather is a Senior Enterprise Fellow at WorldPop. Her work focuses on integrating geospatial datasets and quantitative spatial methods for population estimation and high-resolution mapping of sociodemographics and population health.
Heather received a BSc (Hons) in Geography (2013) and an MSc in Applied GIS and Remote Sensing (2015) from the University of Southampton, with a research project focused on assessing the risk from malaria importation associated with population mobility in southern Zimbabwe.
Since joining the WorldPop team in 2016, Heather has worked on a range of projects. Most recently she has focused on population estimation and mapping through the GRID3 project, supporting project partners in Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
